Guizhou E-commerce Vocational and Technical College is a provincial public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Guizhou Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the "Guiyang Shangxin Senior Accounting School" founded in 1947. After the development of Guizhou Trade Vocational and Technical School, Guizhou Commercial School, etc., it merged with Guizhou Material School in March 2016 and was upgraded to Guizhou E-commerce Vocational and Technical College. In July 2024, it will become a project construction unit for high-level vocational colleges in Guizhou Province.

For 78 years of operation, the school has adhered to the motto of "Shangxin Duxing De Gao Ji Jing", implemented the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, focused on the educational purpose and service orientation of serving commerce and trade in Guizhou, and has trained more than 100000 high-quality composite technical and skilled talents. It is the main battlefield for talent cultivation in the commerce and service industries in Guizhou Province.

We have established the Guizhou E-commerce Development Research Center, Guizhou Business Talent Education and Training Base, and established strategic partnerships with 195 leading enterprises such as Huawei, Xiaomi, and JD.com. We have led the establishment of the Guizhou E-commerce Industry Education Integration Community and the Guiyang Digital Technology Application Industry Education Alliance, with a focus on building an open industry education integration practice center, a "school in factory" production industry education integration training base, and a "factory colonel" data technology application training base in the Huaguoyuan campus, forming a new pattern of "one center, two bases" industry education integration.

It has built the "the Belt and Road" E-commerce Valley Guizhou Center, was rated as the outstanding construction unit of Laos' professional standard development, and was awarded the "Gold Medal Cooperation Organization" of the Chinese Language Alliance for digital and intelligent teaching by the Chinese Language Alliance of the Ministry of Education. In 2024, the establishment of Guijiang Workshop and Zhongtai Cross border E-commerce Industry College will be advocated for the first time, forming a landmark characteristic brand of "vocational education going global" in Guizhou Province.
